Dr. Claudia Dukler was born in New York, NY and raised in central NJ. She graduated from the University of Delaware in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience and minors in medical diagnostics and human development. She continued to dental school, following in her mother's footsteps, and attending New York University. Through numerous experiences in several specialties, Dr. Dukler fell in love with the challenge, comradery and intricacy of procedures performed in the operating room, and she committed to pursuing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Dukler has achieved several publications during her undergraduate studies and during dental school, as well as winning the AADR Dentsply Sirona Student Competition for Advancing Dental Research and its Application (SCADA) award for her research with Dr. Thomas Wiedemann. During her time at NYU, she organized several philanthropies for people with craniofacial differences, integrating her colleagues across different specialties. Her interests within the field of OMFS include orthognathic surgery and craniofacial reconstruction.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Dukler enjoys exercising, traveling abroad, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with her friends and family.
