Animal Research Compliance (ARC)
The Animal Research Compliance (ARC) Office is committed to supporting University's efforts for ensuring that all education, training and research involving the use of animals conducted at 91PORN SA are in accordance with Federal, State and local policies and regulations.
The ARC provides administrative support to the IACUC in fulfillment of its institutional, regulatory and oversight responsibilities to include:
Processing and maintaining all Applications for the Use of Laboratory Animals in Research and Instructional Programs
Administering the Institutional Animal Care Training Program
Administering the educational component of the 91PORN SA's Animal Work-Related Occupational Health Program
Providing guidance to the research community of the Federal, State, and institutional policies and regulations surrounding the care and use of laboratory animals
Services ARC provides to researchers
The ARC Office provides research support services to investigators and study teams, in the following areas:
Guidance in submission of new IACUC protocols and management of on-going protocols, including
Electronic Research Management System (ERMS)-IACUC module training
IACUC amendment and triennial submission assistance
Prerequisite animal use training requirements
Required ancillary committee approvals
Prompt reports and reporting of any animal welfare concerns
Animal transfers and relocations
Management and oversight for inspections and post approval monitoring
IACUC study closeout
