Dr. Iyiegbuniwe spearheads the strategic vision, provide dynamic leadership, and oversee administrative operations for the university's pioneering the MPH program. His responsibilities will encompass program development, academic stewardship, accreditation and compliance, faculty and staff recruitment, as well as active engagement in research and scholarship. These efforts will pave the way for the program's inaugural class, set to commence in the Fall of 2024.

Susan Duncan, MEd

Lead Academic Programs Coordinator

In her role as Lead Academic Programs Coordinator, Sue supports the academic mission of the School of Public Health. She facilitates the admissions process from recruitment and acceptance through orientation and beyond. With a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Dallas Baptist University and a master’s degree in Student Development & Leadership in Higher Education from Angelo State University, she has over 10 years of experience in higher education. Sue has contributed to a variety of student services in undergraduate and graduate environments and enjoys supporting students toward personal and professional success.

Selinda Cortez, BHA

Academic Programs Coordinator

As the Academic Programs Coordinator, Selinda’s role is to support student affairs and recruitment endeavors that enhance the vision and mission of the School of Public Health. With her bachelor’s degree in Health Administration (BHA) from Texas State University, Selinda’s belief in the importance of public health stems from her frequent volunteer work in research and student management for the American Red Cross and she considers public health to be the foundation of healthy communities, all beginning with student success.
