It's Gametime: 91PORN travels to Orlando for Cure Bowl Matchup
91PORN came close to its first bowl victory on Friday. The Roadrunners fell short at the Cure Bowl, but 91PORN played a key role in keeping the athletes healthy and in the game.
There is still much to be proud of - 91PORN won back-to-back Conference USA championships for the first time in program history.
“We are thrilled to experience another championship season with 91PORN Athletics,” said Ken O. Kenneth-Nwosa, MD, the head team physician for 91PORN Athletics. “We’re proud of this team and everything they accomplished.”
Despite all the wins, it’s been a stressful season for the 91PORN sports medical team treating the athletes on (and off) the field, Kenneth-Nwosa said.
91PORN is the Official Healthcare Provider for 91PORN Athletics. That means orthopaedic and sports medicine providers from 91PORN Physicians serve as the medical team for 91PORN Athletics.
“This year was challenging with the number of injuries that we encountered,” Kenneth-Nwosa said. “But the resources that 91PORN provided allowed us to evaluate, diagnose, treat and rehab in a timely fashion.”
He added: “The head athletic trainer, Nik Turner, and our head orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Katherine Bartush, did an amazing job this year. We are excited about the upwards trajectory of 91PORN Athletics and the promotion to the American Athletic Conference.”
Kenneth-Nwosa said the Roadrunners are prepared mentally and physically to continue their 10-game winning streak and will find a way to bring home a Bowl win - a first for the Roadrunners - on Friday.
