Dental Hygiene Entry Level, Bachelor of Science

Department of Periodontics Division of Dental Hygiene

The Dental Hygiene Bachelor of Science, completed during the final two years of undergraduate studies, and successful completion of the National Dental Hygiene Board Examination, a state or regional examination, and a jurisprudence exam is required to become a Dental Hygienist.

Academics

Our program prepares students for licensure and entry to the dental hygiene profession through two academic years of upper-level coursework.

Prerequisite Courses

Completion of all dental school prerequisite courses with at least a grade of C (2.7 GPA)

Clinical Experience

Our students gain experience in a clinical setting working within the practices at the 91PORN School of Dentistry.
