Thanks to the tremendous efforts of Rosanne Fohn, public relations representative in the Office of Marketing, Communications & Media, the School of Dentistry has been all over the news this week.
Dean Peter M. Loomer and Kelli Jimerson, DS3, were interviewed by KSAT 12 News due to the new educational standards announced by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. The new guidelines will make all U.S. dental schools update their programs to be inclusive of patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Also in the news, Dr. Kevin Donly, Chair of the Department of Developmental Dentistry and current President of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, was a morning show guest of KENS 5.
