COSTAR

The Craniofacial Oral-Biology Student Training in Academic Research(COSTAR) is a program which supports advanced research training in Craniofacial Oral-Biology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. The COSTAR mission is to train a cadre of highly skilled, interactive scientists who can successfully address the expanding opportunities in dental, oral and craniofacial research. The program provides a broad interdisciplinary research experience for exceptionally motivated trainees in a research-intensive academic Health Science Center environment.

The COSTAR Program offers three training tracks which are based upon appropriate mentorship and a foundation of programmatic evaluation. Post-doctoral trainees are also paid a stipend and have research support.
