What does wellbeing mean to you?

To me, wellbeing means having a sense of belonging and peace in all aspects of life. It encompasses physical, emotional, financial, and social wellbeing. It’s about having the energy and resilience to face challenges, while also finding joy and satisfaction in both small and big moments. Ultimately, it’s a state where I feel most aligned with my values and in control of my life, even when things get tough.

Health and Wellness advice for GSBS Faculty/Staff/Students

My main piece of advice is to ask for help when you’re struggling. It may sound simple, but far too often, people try to push through difficulties alone, which can be overwhelming and isolating. Reaching out to others—whether it's friends, family, mentors, or professionals—can provide a fresh perspective, emotional support, and practical solutions. There’s no shame in admitting you need help; in fact, it’s a sign of strength. No one should have to struggle in silence, and by asking for help, you give yourself the opportunity to grow, heal, and succeed with the support of those around you.
