What does wellbeing mean to you?

Wellbeing to me means being at peace with myself. It means being mentally, emotionally, and physically well. It is understanding when our mind needs rest, emotions should be let out, and our body needs sleep. We need to take care of our wellbeing and make sure all three aspects are in check. Even if they are not, that is okay. Not every day will be sunshine and rainbows, but you can be the sunshine in someone’s day. 

Health and Wellness advice for GSBS Faculty/Staff/Students

Be kind to yourself and acknowledge your successes! Celebrate the small and big accomplishments-always. Take a mental health day off when needed. Remember that only you know what you are going through, so be kind to yourself and give yourself the praise you deserve. If you are feeling overwhelmed, find your ground and everything will be okay. Remember to take walks and short breaks throughout the day. Find time to prioritize your health and wellbeing. Try something new, start a new challenge, and say it is day one instead of one day.
