Graduate Certificate in Cancer Prevention Program

The Certificate in Cancer Prevention provides graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, and other health care professionals with a formal introduction to the essential components for the prevention of cancer. This 12 semester-credit-hour (SCH) program offers formal coursework in topics relevant to cancer prevention and translational science including biostatistics, epidemiology, and clinical trials design and analysis. The program specifically focuses on the unique risks for cancer in the South Texas region.
